For once I didn’t have to wear my hard hat and safety gear just to drive our Rav4. I work for canada’s Largest open pit gold mine. Everything is big here. We have 32 240 ton dump trucks.
These things are big. They make semis look tiny.
I had to go down and replace a network card in the remote cabin of one of our loaders.

Nice to see there is a fellow miner on here. I work in a large open pit iron ore mine in the northern Minnesota Iron Range. We have over 50 240 ton trucks.

I don’t know you so my assumption based on the pictures my well be incorrect. If so I apologies.

Partly because your company probably doesn’t want to spend more on maintenance than the actual truck is worth on a weekly basis.

I’m confused, I don’t see Jezza blowing up a caravan anywhere??

Shit that’s a lot of trucks
One of our 240s had a blowout on a inner rear tire last month as a pickup was passing near it. It blew out all the windows on the pickup

We haven't had that happen since I was hired but a nearby mine rolled at 793 recently. No one was injured thankfully.
